Despite over 521 years of colonialism, capitalism, imperialism and invasion we are still here. We have survived because we have resisted and we have struggled always accessing the deep wells of love we have for our people. We love, we laugh, we dance and we remember. Today and every day I give thanks to the ongoing resistance and resilience of indigenous peoples on Turtle Island.
